Meet Tiffany

Founder & Lead Instructor

Tiffany, a passionate wellness advocate, discovered the life-changing potential of breathwork during an acting class. While considering various healing modalities, it was the practice of breathwork that resonated deeply with her. After her first session, she felt an undeniable calling to pursue breathwork. This encounter sparked curiosity and led her to embark on a full-length breathwork class with her mentor, Jon Paul Crimi. Little did she know that this experience would profoundly impact her life.

During the session, breathwork tapped into Tiffany's subconscious, enabling the release of deeply held trauma and emotions that she had unknowingly carried for years. This powerful transformation inspired her to not only deepen her personal practice but also share the gift of breathwork with others. Motivated by her mission to create spaces for inner transformation and outer expansion, Tiffany founded Intrabreath. With each class and encounter, she witnesses the awe-inspiring magic and vibrant transformations that occur when individuals engage in the power of breathwork.

What is breathwork?

Breathwork is like a deep tissue massage for your inner being. It’s a powerful practice that involves intentionally altering your breath to activate temporary changes in your physiology and unlock altered states of consciousness. During a breathwork session, the levels of oxygen in our blood increases and make it alkaline which can lead to: transient hypofrontality, or the temporary shut off of the egoic part of your brain that produces a lot of mental noise, and a shift from fight or flight mode to a state of rest and digest.

These bodily changes help you to unlock the hidden potential within you, from releasing pent-up stress, anxiety, and trauma, to clearing away mental fog and ushering in greater clarity, connection, and purpose. Our guided sessions will leave you feeling invigorated, inspired, and ready to take on the world.

What are the benefits of breathwork?

Breathwork is known to bring about a plethora of benefits, from releasing pent-up stress, anxiety, and trauma, to clearing away mental fog and ushering in greater clarity, connection, and purpose. The sensations and insights that emerge during a breathwork session are as diverse and varied as the people who practice it, making it an endlessly fascinating and enriching journey of self-exploration.

Why should I try breathwork?

Breathwork offers a plethora of benefits unique to the individual. With an experienced facilitator, you can safely explore the transformative experiences that this practice has to offer. In today's high-stress society, our nervous systems are often in overdrive, leaving us in a constant state of fight or flight. But with breathwork, you can shift into a deeper state of relaxation and ignite an inner power that propels you forward with newfound energy and inspiration.

What can I expect from a breathwork session?

A skilled facilitator will guide you through the breathwork technique, teaching you the fundamental principles of the practice in a safe and supportive environment. Through personalized sessions, you can explore your intentions and focus on specific areas of your life you wish to work on, while group classes offer opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals and engage in meaningful conversations with others who are on a similar journey.

What should I bring and do to prepare for a breathwork class?

Bring a yoga mat, water, blanket, eye mask (optional), and an open mind (mandatory!). Wear comfortable and loose clothing with layers, and avoid heavy meals 1-2 hours before class.

Is breathwork safe for me to practice?

Breathwork is considered safe for most people, but as with any new physical or mental activity, it's important to take certain precautions. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions or concerns, it's always a good idea to consult with your doctor before starting a breathwork practice. This is especially important if you have a history of heart or lung problems, or if you're pregnant.

It's also important to note that breathwork can be an intense experience, both physically and emotionally. If you feel hesitant or unsure about whether it's right for you, we encourage you to consult with your doctor and/or schedule a consultation call with us for guidance. We can help you assess whether breathwork is a safe and appropriate practice for your individual needs and goals.

What should I do after a breathwork session?

After a breathwork session, it's important to take some time to ground yourself and integrate the experience. You might want to spend some quiet time alone, or connect with others who you feel aligned with. Some find it helpful to journal or create art to process feelings and insights that their session may have surfaced.

Additionally, in the days after a session, it’s important to stay hydrated, well nourished, and be gentle with yourself as you continue to reap the benefits of this amazing practice. Remember, the more you practice, the more you will be able to access the profound healing and transformation that breathwork has to offer.

Is _____ normal during breathwork?

Yes! During a breathwork session, it's normal to experience a variety of sensations that can feel like a wild rollercoaster ride. From tingling extremities to muscle tension or relaxation, and even emotional releases or altered states of consciousness, your body and mind will go through a unique process during the practice. These sensations indicate that the breathwork is working to release tension and heal your body, and it's important to know that you'll remain fully conscious throughout the session.

Afterward, your body will gradually return to its normal resting state. It's also reassuring to know that there have been no reported incidents of anything bad happening during breathwork, making it a safe practice to explore. Just remember that if you ever feel uncomfortable or experience any pain or distress, you can always ask your facilitator for assistance or slow down your breath– you are in full control of this ride!

How long does it take to see the benefits of breathwork?

In just one session, you may find yourself shedding layers of trauma, anxiety, and mental fog like a snake shedding its skin. That's the beauty of breathwork – it helps you tap into the power of your breath to release stuck energy and emotions that might be holding you back. And the best part? You don't have to wait long to see the benefits. You can experience immediate relief and a sense of calmness after just one session.

For those ready to unlock the full potential of breathwork, it's important to make it a consistent part of your self-care routine. This can lead to profound long-term benefits, including a deeper connection to yourself and others, increased self-awareness, and clarity on your purpose in life. So, don't stop after just one session! Stay dedicated to your breathwork practice, and who knows where it might lead you in the long run.

How does breathwork differ from other forms of meditation?

While breathwork and meditation share some similarities, breathwork is a more dynamic practice that involves specific breathing techniques to help you access deeper states of consciousness and release tension from the body.Unlike traditional mindfulness meditation, which often involves focusing on the breath or a mantra to quiet the mind, breathwork typically involves more active breathing patterns that can lead to physical sensations and emotional release. Both practices can be incredibly beneficial for reducing stress and promoting relaxation, but breathwork can offer a more active and transformative experience for those looking to explore their inner world in a deeper way.
